Back in the early 90’s actress Lark Voorhies was one of the hottest brown-skinned beauties on tv. She was the crush of many adolescent boys who would happily tune in to watch ‘Lisa Turtle’ on the hit sitcom “Saved By The Bell.” We haven’t seen much or heard from Lark until recently as she has been making some headlines since she doesn’t look the same from her Saved by The Bell days. The now 38 yr-old-actress recently did an interview with Yahoo on ‘The Yo Show’ where she talked about what she’s been up to since the show and the interesting story of how she landed the role of Lisa Turtle who was supposed to be a Jewish Princess. The exclusive interview seemed to go very well with no pun intended. However, once the interview was edited and posted to the web, Yahoo and many other media sites slammed Lisa Turtle for her looks. Titles such as: “Washed Up Celebrities: Lark Voorhies” “What on Earth Happened To Lark Voorhies” flooded the net. Honestly, we hope the actress just had a bad make up job and isn’t battling something else that has her looking differently.
