When one door closes another one opens!
Marina, just a regular girl working a media job at Next Media Animation when she realized how fed up with sacrificing relationships, time, and energy for her job. On her last day of employment, she decided to make a goodbye video of herself dancing around the office 4:30 am to Kanye’s “Gone” while sending her boss the message “I Quit.“ She also wrote in the video dsescrpition:
I work for an awesome company that makes news videos. I have put my life into this job, but my boss says quantity, speed and views are what is most important. I believe it’s more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come. Here is a little video I made explaining my feelings.
The video went viral with millions of views, while attracting the attention of Queen Latifah who invited Marina on her show. Proving that when one door closes, another one opens, the Queen herself offered Marina a job on her show as “digital content producer,” while telling her that she has been looking for “cool, creative, interesting” people to join her team.
