Apparently South Africans don’t believe in good things come to those who wait!
R&B singer, Brandy was secretly scheduled to be a surprise performance at the Nelson Mandela Sports and Culture Day, but since fans had absolutely NO IDEA the singer would be the grand finale of a packed schedule, almost every single person in attendance had left the building by the time she stepped on stage.
We’re talking almost 90,000 PEOPLE!
When Brandy came out for her big moment, he FNB stadium in Soweto, South Africa, was almost emptied with only 40 people left which had been packed the entire day.
After local musician Kabomo tweeted. Other event-goers shared Kabomo’s shock.

“I gave up the min I saw the empty stadium. Brandy performing for the chairs!”
Brandy ended up running off of stage after performing just 2 songs! But we say if Brandy got paid, she should have stayed and performed! I am sure the clean up crew would have enjoyed the music while finishing up and the 40 fans that stayed till the end!
