Big Sean is SORRY…..
Sorry that he messed up a good thing with his ex girlfriend, Ashley. He’s so sorry he wrote a song about her, and if you’re wondering how his current girlfriend feels about it, check out her diss song to Ashley below. lol
The song is really sentimental…. you can tell he really loved Ashley. She was his ride or die chick before the money and the fame, who let him sleep on her couch when he was broke down and out… he even mentioned how good times were even though they were broke ironically he felt the richest and he attributes that to having her.
In the second verse, he says how sorry he is over and over again as he shares on his infidelities in the relationship among other things… knowing that one day he would end up loosing his girlfriend to someone that could treat her better.
Miguel does an excellent job singing on the hook, striking the raw emotion of the song.
