Paula Deen‘s TV career is BURNT TOAST……
After the Food Network learned about the swirling controversy surrounding Paula’s admission of repeatedly using the N-word, the network FIRED the celebrity chef… Since Deen has cancelled an interview with the ‘Today” show to discuss the controversy but tried to do damage control via Youtube uploading several apology videos…. that are pretty much a HOT MESS!
Paula Deen also tried using an excuse that she’s from the South to justify her use of the N-word … saying that when she grew up, saying the N-word was not a big deal because everyone was racist…..however to add more fuel to the fire, Deen is currently being SUED by a former employee for racial discrimination….so it looks like Paula hasn’t stopped her use of the N-word
In addition to The Food Network, Deen holds a contract with QVC as well and it looks like they may also boot her as the shopping network has no immediate plans to have her on air.
