After the third attempt,The 23-year-old South Carolina girl was FINALLY crowned the Season 12 winner of “American Idol.”
This was very exciting to see especially after Simon Cowell talked down on her during an audition telling her she would never amount to nothing more than a lounge singer.
What ya got to say know Simon?! A congrats would be nice! The win took Candice by total surprise, she almost couldn’t believe it when she heard her name announced over runner up Kree Harrison.
‘It took three years, oh my god.‘ a very emotional Candice said to the audience.
The season finale was full of more excitement with guest appearances by Jessie J, J-Lo, and Jennifer Hudson!
