kendrick-lamar-b-don't-kill-my-vibe-video

California rapper, Kendrick Lamar released the music video for ‘B Don’t Kill My Vibe

The video features appearances by comedian Mike Epps, Juicy J and Schoolboy. While we are not too keen on the title of the song, the visual doesn’t make it any better promoting the choice of two evils and sacrilegious practices.

The storyline of the video takes place at a funeral for the street drug ‘Molly’ a drug that many rappers promote in their songs. Kendrick Lamar however is taking a different approach in this song by promoting the ‘Death of Molly’. The direct message is great, however he makes a mockery of Christianity while promoting the death of the popular street drug…SMH

At the funeral, Mike Eps conducts a mock baptism with Kendrick in a pool full of liquor and afterwards a cameo of Dr. Dre’s new Beats by Dre PILL speaker is referenced…. Why in the world would he mix LIQUOR and PILLS in the clip of his baptism—sacrilegious much?!

But that’s not it….On the way to the burial  Kendrick and the funeral attendees are seen in a limo where they pop bottles and party at the death of Molly. So we have to ask…what good is it to promote the death of one drug to give life to another ? Is this generation about choosing the “lesser of two evils”?

Give us your thoughts….Do you think the rapper went overboard in this sacrilegious video?
