Renewing love!
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey really out shined a few couples of Hollywood when they shut down Disneyland for their 5th anniversary to renew their wedding vowels last week.
Just like a Fairy-tell coming true the ceremony took place in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle! We all know Mimi is a fan of the Disney world, but Nick elaborates on how they came up with this idea:
“Last year, we did the kids’ first birthday and our fourth wedding anniversary in Paris in the Eiffel Tower, so it was like, ‘How are we gonna top that?’ And the thing was, that [the Paris trip] was great, but we didn’t have the opportunity to invite family and friends because we were out there, so we were like, this time, we need a place that everyone can come to. And, you know, [we] shut down Disneyland.”
With this already being a unique ceremony, Nick dressed up as Charming and Mariah as Cinderella :
“We both like to dress up, that’s what we love to do and that’s keeping that fun going.”
Ha! Bet you they dress up in the bedroom too!
Nick admits it will hard to top a ceremony like this:
“I don’t know what we’re gonna do next year, I think we’re just gonna keep it simple. Maybe we’ll do hillbilly wedding or something.”
Keep the love like new! I’m sure this moment was special for Nick as he expressed in a interview where he went from Section 8 housing to marrying one of the biggest superstars in the world and renewing their vows at the happiest place on Earth!
Fairy tells do come true! You can come from Nothing and have Everything if you work hard for it. The only limits we have in life are the ones we set ourselves!
