The Family of Emmett Till says they plan to put pressure on many sponsors of codeine feign lil Wayne, mainly with the endorsement deal with Mountain Dew. They want Mountain dew to drop Wayne after the rapper referenced the deceased teen in a verse on an unreleased remix of Future’s “Karate Chop” single, the family is dissatisfied with Weezy’s response to the offensive lyric.
Epic Records have apologized on Wayne’s behalf and have pulled the remix off of the air. Emmet Till’s family still aim to hit young money in the pockets to get his attention.
