What the heck is wrong with the ladies of Love & Hip-Hop New York ?

Hello Everyone, this is my first post on Welcome2Cali.com. My name is Blasian Quita. But my readers know me as BlasianQ. I am pretty much a African plus-size woman on the outside and sexy Asian woman on the inside. I hope to be entertaining as well educational. But, let’s get back to the business….What the heck is wrong with the ladies of Love & Hip-Hop: New York ?

It’s like every time I watch an episode I can feel my brain cells losing count. We got crazy Latinas but where are the well-educated professional women that are in the  industry of Hip-Hop?  At least with Atlanta they actually have real talent on the show. It seems like New York is going to turn out to be nothing but gimmicks. Instead of covering the entire cast I wanted to focus on the only female artists on Love & Hip hop New York:  Olivia and Lore’l

Lore’l

As much as she complains about people not putting the apostrophe correct in her name she is a force to not be messed with. In last week’s episode instead of physical fighting Erica Mena when she brought up the issue of not liking her for bringing up old drama she decided to not associate with her again. Personally, the reason why Lore’l is currently my favorite personality on the show is that she understands that in order to be a successful female rapper you can’t act rachet in the streets. If she continues on her route as a independent artist and making amazing mixtapes she will get signed very soon.

Olivia

The former G-Unit first lady has had rough time in the music industry. First, her song “December” did really well independently but I feel what is holding her success is her attitude. She still has a lot of emotional issues, such as dealing with the treatment of her mother. I feel once she can come to true feelings within her self then she will be able to write better lyrics for her songs.
