It’s no secret that Drake is highly infatuated with Aaliyah, who passed over a decade ago. Shall we count the ways???  To say the least, the Canadian rapper has a tattoo of the singer’s face on his back and wears a custom earpiece with Aaliyah’s image on the device.

Just two days ago, Drake released his new single featuring the late, great singer titled, “Enough Said”. Aaliyah’s younger brother Rashad is not happy nor is he keeping quiet about it. He took to Aaliyah’s Facebook fan-page to post the following message,

“There is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family.”

Which leaves us saying, “Enough Said!”. Why wouldn’t Drake get the family’s blessing first?! I mean, isn’t that like marrying a woman without asking her father for his blessing??? Rudeness!!

After the very controversial release of Aaliyah‘s track “Enough Said” featuring Drake, rumors have surrounded a possible album and biopic is next on the list. Does this mean Drake doesn’t care about being in the good graces of the Haughton’s?(Aaliyah’s family).

In a recent interview with Power 105′s The Breakfast Club, Timbaland made it clear that if anyone including Drake was interested in an Aaliyah collaboration, it must be for charity and he and Missy Elliott should be apart of it.

“I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he [Drake] do do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy,” he says. “I don’t know what’s going on, that’s where it becomes frustrating. But he proper way to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. For it to be on his record, that would not be right…and it gotta be for charity, I think it’s just wrong to make money off the dead.”

What do you think?

Is Drake wrong to make money off the dead? Should Timbaland and Missy Elliott be apart of the collaboration? Tell us in the comments below.
