After taking time off to bond with Baby Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce is reportedly back in the studio working on her upcoming fifth studio album.
On Wednesday, Beyonce posted a very mysterious announcement on her website, leaving many fans to decode the message.
“Leave your footprint on 19 August 2012,” the brief message states under the news section on her website.
Maybe its an announcement to a song title? I dunno, but fans are excited and have already started the 25 day countdown!

According to songwriter responsible for Adele’s ’21’ LP and Beyonce’s hit single ‘Halo,’ Ryan Tedder is already pitching her songs about parenthood. “I would say that that goes without saying,” Tedder exclusively tells The BoomBox.
Beyonce’s last album, 4, leaked 3 weeks ahead of its release date last year. This year the Pop diva is taking extreme measures to ensure none of her new material is leaked. UK singer Conor Maynard said: ‘I’ve heard some mad stories. With Beyonce, I heard that with her people they’ll make sure that there’s no-one in the studio. They go into the studio, wipe it, set up one new session for her to record. Once she’s finished recording they move it onto a hard drive. They wipe the studio computer again and then leave.’
As a result Beyonce’s album ‘4’ was one of her weaker selling albums but sales saw a huge surge after her pregnancy announcement. Fans are already awaiting Beyonce’s comeback, will Beyonce reinvent her sounds on this next album?
According to Tedder she is, “She’s not interested in 2012, [she’s interested in] what’s [going to sound good for] 2013,” he reveals. “Without question she steers the ship. [With] Beyonce, you just let her go, she’s ridiculous, she’s the best.”
