82 year-old Katherine Jackson, mother of the legendary Jackson family, was reported missing by her nephew on Sunday, according to the Malibu station of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
Katherine’s nephew, Trent who filed the missing persons report said her grandchildren had not spoken with his aunt in one week.
According to CNN, Jackson’s lawyer believed she had been traveling with Rebbie Jackson, her daughter. However, Katherine has never gone more than a day without speaking to her grandchildren. “I’m concerned that she’s not safe,” Sandra Ribera, the lawyer, said.
Katherine is the legal guardian of Michael Jackson’s three children who have lived with her ever since their father’s death three years ago.
The second eldest, Paris Jackson took to twitter to voice her concerns about the whereabouts of her grandmother as she tweeted Sunday,
“Yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now.” She asked for anyone who sees Katherine to call the authorities or call security phone number (818)-876-0186. She then added, “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother… just saying.”
