Country Singer Taylor Swift takes the #1 spot, who Forbes estimates earned about $57 million. The 22 year-old country star benefitted from a huge tour this year, grossing over $1 million per night on more than 65 dates. In addition, she continues to cash in on her 2010 album Speak Now, which has now sold 5 million + copies worldwide;
Runner up is none other than teen heart-throb Justin Bieber. The 18-year-old is said to have raked in $55 million this year, with 43 million Facebook fans, 21 million Twitter followers including over 12 million albums sold since 2009 it doesn’t come as a surprise. Bieber also raked in more dough this year with his female fragrance, Someday.
Second runner up is good girl gone bad, Rihanna. She raked in a whopping $53 million this year, thanks to hit singles; “We Found Love” and “Talk That Talk,” as well as endorsements with Vita Coco and Nivea. With over 53 million facebook fans, her fragrance, Reb’l Fleur added to her millions as well as her heavy touring schedule that included over 85 shows in the past 12 months.
