When Nicki Minaj Pop/Hip-Hop Goes Wrong……
Minaj pulled out one of the biggest U.S. Hip-hop concerts only hours before she was due to hit the stage due to the radio’s DJ Peter Rosenberg who dissed her song “Starships” at a concert in New Jersey on Sunday, June 3.
The radio personality allegedly dissed Minaj song, ‘Starships’. “Nicki better not perform that wack a** ‘Starships’ track,” said Peter right before introducing the next act, Oakland rapper Kendrick Lamar. He added that Minaj was “no longer real Hip-Hop” basically labeling her a sell-out.
Once HNIC, Lil Wayne caught wind of the diss he quickly announced via twitter that Nicki would not perform. In support of his decision, Nicki Minaj shortly tweeted after:
“Wow. U n***az just f***ed up history. But the President has spoken. #YMCMB.”
“Not blak but on blak radio dissin blak women RT @JAE_MILLZ Radio personality with NO personality… f**k nigga!!! & u ain’t even blak….”
“I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against wayne’s word. What he says, goes,” she added. “Had a HELL of a f****ing lineup. But we won’t b disrespected.”
This, prompting her fiance’/A&R coordinator Saffaree Samuels to tweet:

I’m not sure if this DJ was trying to keep it real or if he just didn’t care at all! But I won’t be surprised if Nicki’s fans are in an uproar!
