Tami Roman, star of the hit reality show Basket Ball Wives talks marriage, divorce, and anger management. If you seen any of the seasons of Basketball wives, then you’ve more than likely seen Tami attacking one of her fellow BBW’s. Tami is known as one of the BBW’s with a heavy temper, she says “I have been known to pop a bitch or two, but I’m in total control of my anger management issues now”. The latest season of BBW has shown a calmer version of Tami, maybe its the lawsuit from Meeka Claxton.
While many young women dream of having the lifestyle of a Basketball wive, many women wouldn’t be able to turn a blind eye to the infidelities nor cope with the long distance.”You’ve got a lot of great things, lots of great material things, great lifestyle when you are a basketball wife,” Tami says.
“The relationship is where it lacks. I was that wife that had her blinders on. … It wasn’t until it just got to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore.”
When Tami heard reports that Kobe Bryant and Vanessa are rekindling their relationship, she was flabbergasted. Tami says she wouldn’t have taken him back, but admits you can’t tell anyone whom to love.
“I felt like I didn’t have choices,” Tami says about her ex, Kenny Anderson. “What am I going to do now? Job? You’re dependent on him. At the time we got divorced, he had signed a $60 million contract. We had a prenup, so I walked away with nothing. It’s been really hard, and I’ve been vocal about him not paying child support. But I feel like it is a testament to others out there and to my daughters that there are strong women out there. Everything for them I have paid for.”
