“Somebody lied I got the chopper in the car.”
The Maybach Music rapper Rick Ross had not crashed his car last January, he had every intention in protecting himself during a drive-by attempt on his life. AT the time of the shooting Ross had a loaded semiautomatic smith and wesson handgun in his possession.
The newly released police report states:
“The rapper Rick Ross had a loaded 9mm handgun in the waistband of his pants when the Rolls Royce he was driving was recently fired upon on a Florida street, The Smoking Gun has learned.”
Rapper Rick Ross was caring the semi-automatic despite having a suspended handgun permit. It is unclear if Ross will face a weapons possession charge in the connection with the January 28 incident. The “black ad chrome” gun confiscated from the rapper contained 12 rounds with 1 in the chamber and 11 in the magazine, cops noted.<!
Ricky Rozay had never attempted to hide the gun despite not having a valid license to carry the firearm, and has hired 24hr armed security since the shooting.
