R&B artist Ryan Leslie made front page of NY Post newspaper with the interesting headline “Rap Weasel!” Leslie has to pay the man who found his laptop 1million dollars. The artist states “In 2010 somebody stole all of my music out of the back of a black mercedes benz in germany. Initionally I put up an award of 20,000 just to get my backpack back, and when it never returned, I upped the award to 1 million dollars because my music was absolutely everything to me. Eventually somebody did return that backpack to me, and when I plugged in that hard drive to access everything that I had lost, The music just wasn’t there. I could not access anything.”
During a recent performance Leslie informs fans about this situation and gets teary-eyed on stage as he speaks on the moment he saw the cover of NY’s post. “And so i woke up today to go get me some orange juice and the lady who works at the deli was like,”oh man , you don got on the front [age of the paper today”, and I looked at the headline and it said “Rap Weasel.” The man who returned the laptop filed a lawsuit against the songwriter/producer in federal court demanding that he pay $1 million. The jury ruled against Ryan Leslie & demand him to keep his end of the deal!
