Manny Pacquiao is taking a page out of Money Mayweather’s book… Manny has recruited r&b singer Ashanti to sing the national anthem at his next fight scheduled April 12th against Timothy Bradley Jr.
Last night the two were getting to know each other, the two were photo’d out together in Hollywood at the Wild Card Boxing Club event. Ashanti was learning how to spar… judging from her stance she may have learned a couple of moves!
Ashanti’s latest solo efforts debuted on the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart after selling 28,000 for the first week. While it’s not a huge victory for a once major artist, its not horrible for a project released independently…. One thing’s for sure, singing the national anthem at Pacquiao’s fight will be great promotion for her Bravehart album.
