Kelly Rowland is truly a Survivor…..
On Friday, the former Destiny’s Child singer gave true meaning to their song, “Survivor’ when she and a few of her buddies rented a private boat to whale watch… but it all went bad when the boat broke down off the shores of Provincetown, Mass leaving them stranded at sea for more than 12 HOURS LONG!!
Due to strong waves and thick fog, Kelly and her crew were lost out at sea! An employee at Towboat US Provincetown recalls that the US Coast Guard was able to “triangulate their position” after learning that the group needed help and escorted them back to Provincetown”.
The party then had to be towed the remaining four miles to shore, Kelly and her friends arrived on land at around 10 p.m., after being stuck at sea since the early afternoon.
In the end, the entire group was said to be:
“tired and thankful,” the employee added.”They just wanted to get off the boat.”
What a scary incident!! Thank God Kelly and her friends made it off the shores….. despite the incident Kelly seem to have enjoyed her trip, on her Instagram account she shared with fans how much she adores spending her downtime there.
Rowland took one pic of The Little Red, a local store, that had a sign out front saying, “Best store ever! Love & Happiness.”
She captioned another photograph, “Loving P-Town!!!!!! The happiest place on Earth!”
“Me and my girl Christina Spencer, the Chef at Victor’s in P-Town!!! This food is absolutely amazing! #passionforfood” she wrote.
