Well, maybe not so much of a hit, but Paris Hilton is bringing more of her music back and she’s doing it this time around with YMCMB!! Yep, Lil Wayne and nem just signed Paris Hilton to a record deal … and she’s focusing on house music!! *sigh of relief*
Cash Money head honcho — Birdman — confirmed the news on Twitter … saying,
“Lil Wayne’s Cash Money family has a new member! Paris Hilton: RichgangRichgirl.“
The exciting news comes SEVEN YEARS after the release of her debut album ‘Paris’, which reached #6 on the Billboard 200. If you haven’t heard Paris sing….I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING….its actually NOT that bad. Now don’t get me wrong, she’s not Kim Kardashian bad and she’s not Whitney Houston good but she can give Jlo and Cassie a run for their money!
Besides the fact, shedidn’t stand a chance with her first album because it was the wrong genre (r&b). However, with her producing EDM/House music this time around were pretty confident that she will excel this time around because its more in her lane and doesn’t require a strong singing voice.
According to Showbiz411, before Hilton’s album release Paris will be playing records (digital tracks) this summer in Ibiza, Spain–which also happens to be the hometown of her eleven years younger male model boyfriend named River.
This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris told Showbizz411. “It’s really going to be house music.”
The new album will be produced by Afrojack … and will feature label mate, Lil Wayne.
