Zach Galifianakis became friends with an 87 year-old woman named Elizabeth “Mimi” Haist at Fox Coin Laundry in Santa Monica back in 1994, where she would help him and others fold their clothes for tips…
When he found out Mimi became homeless a few years ago, he decided to help her out by setting her up in a one bedroom apartment and paying her rent.
Before we knew it Zach began taking Mimi as his date to the movie premiers and walked red carpet with her at “Hangover2, “The Campaign”…and now “Hangover 3.”
