Kaboom! Guess who stepped in the room……
Wu-Tang Clan are back! Yeaa mannnnn, for the first time in many, many years we will hear the Staten Island collective on a brand new album once again! I’m talking the whole crew too….RZA, GZA, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Method Man and Masta Killah. #minusODBrestinpeace
Do you think they still got it?!
I hope so cuz Hip-Hop truly needs some strong lyricists to make a comeback….but not no foolishness like LL Cool J did in ‘Accidental Racist’ “If you let me wear my gold chains and gold teef-is, I’ll say slavery is Oooo-tay!“ #aintnobodygottimeforthat!
If you’re wondering what inspired the group to return back on the scene, RZA says:
We need to, one time, completely, efficiently, properly, professionally represent our brand. One more time. But this time, showing up on time for press and for concerts and studio. Do it one time, perfect.‘
I can respect that…sounds like the guys got a better handle on life now that they have matured over the years.
Wu Tang is already gearing up for practice to grace the stage in the UK for two live shows in July. The concerts will mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album, A Better Tomorrow. Their sixth album, A Better Tomorrow is named after a song on their 2nd LP Wu-Tang Forever and is expected to be released in July this year.
YES! Judging from the title, it already sounds inspiring! #Wutangbringbackhiphopmusic
Tickets go on sale from 9am Friday 12th April.
