Did 50 Cent just call Kim Kardashian trash?
It’s nothing like a lil trash talk and rivalry in Hip-Hop to promote an album, it has worked for decades upon decades. With the release of 50 Cent’s comeback single, ‘New Day’ he ain’t waisting no time starting a new feud, he went in on Kanye West and his muse Kim Kardashian.
When asked about Hollywood’s hottest new couple, Kimye he told XXL Magazine:
‘You know how it is? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’. He went on to explain, ‘I mean, if that man feel like she’s perfect, then she’s perfect…He could mean it and you’ll end up singing the words to it because he’s Kanye.‘ But he also issued a warning to Kanye, ‘I’m not sure. The smartest guys I know have lost being a bad judge of character in that area.’
Calling Kim Kardashian trash after Kanye recently dedicated a song titled ‘Perfect B****’ is definitely a way to get the rivalry started up again. I mean the two have never been buddy buddy so he could have very well just meant what he said.
Back in 2007, ‘The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper started a rival with Kanye West when he promised he would quit music if Kanye’s album sold more than his. When Kanye topped the charts at #1 and sold nearly 1 million units the first week, Fifty was happy to come in at #2 selling almost 700,000 units in the first week. Despite his previous statement, 50 Cent went on to release ‘Before I Self Destruct in 2009’, while this year he is set to release his latest album, ‘Street King Immortal.’
Is 50 Cent pulling another publicity stunt to sell more albums or is he just telling the raw truth?
