Every so often, a new person comes along and steals all the attention of fans and critics and that person right now is Gabby Douglas.
Michael Phelps maybe the most decorated Olympian in the world but it looks like his winning’s aren’t as interesting as watching little Gabby Douglas soar to the top in women’s gymnastics.
According to NBC, the network airing the Olympic games, Gabby Douglas is the most clicked-upon athlete on the NBC Olympics website. Her profile on the site received more than 18 million viewers while swimmer Michael Phelps profile received just over 7 million viewers.
Thanks to all the interest in Gabby, the NBC Olympics website has already received over 1 billion page views which is almost as many as the network netted for the entire 2008 Beijing Olympics, NBC announced on Monday.
