Los Angeles rapper ‘Game ‘ and longtime girlfriend/baby-mother Tiffney Cambridge call off wedding just 9 days before ceremony.
The Game and Tiffney made a beautiful couple and shared 2 cute kids, but that just wasn’t enough for them to walk down the aisle. Sources close to the couple say “they just didn’t get along.” Just 9 months ago we saw the west coast rapper in joyful bliss as he proposed to his girlfriend of 7 years on camera with his Bishop, which he explained was an impulsive decision, “The planning was all quick, last minute. I woke up today with a different headspace, and I just started planning this at 10 a.m., and we pulled it off by 2 p.m.. Four hours to pull all these media outlets, get the school in line, the principal, the bishop from the church to come down. The sun came out, obviously I’m sweating here, crazy.” Although the Game was able to plan out his wedding proposal, he was leaving the planning to Tiffney but he had invested $500,000 on the event according to an interview with Sister 2 Sister in June.
Despite the disappointment, The Game took to Twitter to give an explanation. “The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF,” he wrote. “It’s not her fault, it’s mine! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through. Important message to all men: If you’re lucky to have 1/2 of the woman I had… Appreciate her & do everything necessary to keep her happy ! I am truly sorry & apologetic to my family, friends & EVERYONE that this has affected & inconvenienced. Not everyone has a happy ending.”
I at least give him credit for taking full responsibility for his actions.
