Are you wearing your purple?!
I know its St. Patty’s Day but instead of wearing green, everyone at the 21st mile marker was wearing Purple in support of Pancreatic Cancer Research. Welcome 2 Cali joined one of the official sponsors of this years LA Marathon, The Hirshberg foundation!
Agi Hirshberg the founder of the Hirshberg foundation chatted with our host Ryland Adams to talk about how her organization has raised a whopping 11 MILLION dollars to fund research. Although Pancreatic Cancer is the LEAST funded of all Cancer types, Agi’s foundation gives hope to one day find a cure! Her drive and passion for this disease all stemmed from loosing a loved one, her husband almost 16 years ago.
The Hirshberg Foundation slogan and call to action is “You can hope, or you can help” …. You too can help in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer by raising money, volunteering and or participating in fundraising events such as the L.A. Cancer Challenge.
