Remember that song? Well the rapper of that song, Daddy Yankee aka pretty boy is caught in the middle of a gay scandal! Or maybe not, you be the judge…
For the past month, Mr. Yankee has constantly denied being gay via twitter but just as of recent he got tired of hiding in the closet a fake statement was released on his behalf claiming that he is gay!
In a bid to do damage control, his publicist has refuted the rumors that the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist had publicly acknowledged he is gay.
uh oh, I bet you didn’t! I think this might be a case of an artist letting out his true feelings but his publicist ain’t havin’ it, due to his macho image and brand! Afterall, he didn’t mention anything about the photo of Daddy Yankee kissing another man.
I know we live in an era where celebs are targeted with pranks in swatting, hacking financial information and photoshopping images and documents…so I guess I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt!

“I request and I thank the press to respect my family and myself, which concluded the issue with this letter and subsequent statements will not. I have fear and uncertainty, but I rely on my partner, I know that your love is larger than this, I ask with all my heart that I deem to have been honest and above all always be proud of who they are and never make the mistake that I made. ”

The statement contained a statement, attributed to Mayna Nevarez, President of the public relations firm Nevarez Communications:
“Online blogs and social media are once again to blame for the spread of false news reports, which other media outlets have also shared regarding a public figure. The reports circulating regarding Daddy Yankee’s declaration of homosexuality was falsely written by an online outlet known for fabricating false information and spreading it through social media sites.”
