Could you imagine shooting and killing 12 people, injuring 58 innocent people and have no recollection of the massacre?
Well that’s what suspected shooter James Holmes is telling Colorado jail workers. Holmes is the suspected shooter in last week’s movie theater massacre and he claims he doesn’t even know why he’s locked behind bars.
“He claims he doesn’t know why he’s in jail,” the worker said Thursday. “He asked, ‘Why am I here?’”
The former California honor student was arrested in the parking lot of the Century 16 multiplex theatre in Aurora, Colo., just minutes after the bloody massacre on Friday morning through a sold-out premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises.”
Despite his plea, no one at the Arapahoe County Detention Center is buying into Holmes’ story, staff and inmates believe he’s faking amnesia.
“He needs to save his act for the jury because no one here is buying it,” the worker said. “Everyone is convinced he is faking it.”
Initial police reports noted there were 2 shooters and said Holmes wore riot gear, used smoke bombs and armed himself with three guns.
How the heck did an unemployed, undergrad college student have the funds to purchase all this heavy arsenal, let alone the experience to use the machinery. And if he portrayed to be the joker why is his hair red-orange and not green????
With so many inconsistencies in this case, it makes me wonder could this guy have been setup? ‘
