Ron Isley is no stranger to creating classic “Baby-making” music……..
But we would have never thought in a MILLION YEARS that he’d be doing it with R.Kelly JR. young r&b crooner Trey Songz! If you’re expecting to hear something epic like Mr. Big and Kels created….think again. The duet is a mere let down…. their voices just don’t mix! While Ron gives us his signature “ladadada da’s” Trey Song is doing riffs and runs all over his vocals in the wrong places!
But it all makes sense why this duet came about….. Ron Isley has known Trey since he first started in music and always said that he would do a song with him….. so it sounds like a FAVOR!
In a recent interview with AOL, Ron Isley revealed
I knew him when he first started…He wrote a song that I did with Patti LaBelle called, “I Just came to chill” and that was a big, big record for me. Trey Songz was just getting started then and I said, “One day, I’ll do a song with you.” When he talked to me, he said, “I think I got that song we were talking about” and when I heard it, I said, “That’s it!”
