Actor Michael Clarke Duncan, best known for his role in “The Green Mile,” is in the intensive care unit at an L.A. hospital after suffering a heart attack early Friday morning. TMZ reports, Duncan may have died were it not for his girlfriend Omarosa Stallworth, who performed CPR.
Paramedics responded to her 911 call around 2 a.m. and rushed him from his house in Woodland Hills, Calif., sources told Welcome2Cali.
“According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning. He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery,” publicist Joy Fehily said in a statement to The News.
Omarosa, best known from “The Apprentice” & Celebrity Apprentice in 2004 met Duncan about two years ago after meeting in the produce section of a Whole Foods grocery store.
“He is the love of my life” she professed to MO’Nique in 2011.
