Kanye West is under attack by the American Parkinson Disease Association….
Rappers have to be more responsible about what they say nowadays….recently Lil Wayne lost his sponsor for his Emmet Till comment and rapper Rick Ross lost his sponsorship for his insensitive date rape comment and now Kanye is being slammed over a lyric on his new album which uses Parkinson’s disease to rhyme.
While the lyric may offend someone with Parkinsons… we’re pretty sure Kanye West intentions were not to attack people affected with Parkinson’s in his song….but to use the word Parkinson to describe what he was saying….
Check out the insensitive lyric below that’s being labled: “ignorant” and “distasteful”
The song is called “On Sight” and includes the following lyric,
“A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s.”
Mainly Kathryn Withford, the VP for the PDA told TMZ , “We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.”
So far, no response from Kanye’s camp and I’m sure the APDA is just fishing for a donation….who knew the VP of the APDA listens to Rap music!
