Californians BEWARE of a recent Fruit Recall…..
If you shop at Trader Joe’s, Kroger/Ralphs market and or Walmart and purchased nectarines, peaches, or plums recently … you could have been exposed to Listeria.
Listeria is deadly bacteria that can affect older adults, children , pregnant women and others with a weakened immune system.
The initial recall covered specific lots of fruit (including organic) packed from June 1 through July 12 from a packing company outside of Fresno.
Now, the company is expanding the recall by an additional five days as a precautionary measure.
The recall now covers fruit packaged through July 17.
