This time King Queen B is telling listeners to ‘Stand Up And Be Strong’ instead of ‘Bow Down B****es…..
In the new film, ‘Epic’ Beyonce plays Queen Tara and will also appear on the Soundtrack for the featured ballad, ‘Rise Up’. We know this is a project that baby Blue Ivy will LOVE, by the time the movie is released she will recognize her mommy’s voice.
The empowering mid-temp song features lyrics like,
“Take it from me/ Stand and be proud.” Later on, she sings, “Fight for you and me / Look into my eyes and believe / We’re the ones who will fight / We will fight and together; we’ll rise.”
The lyrics are very REFRESHING coming after the self-righteous song ‘Bow Down/I Been On’ and we can thankSia for that, who also penned Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ song. The track features production from Hit-Boy, and Chase N. Cashe. If you interested in taking your family to see the movie it opens in theaters on May 24th, and also stars Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Pitbull and Steven Tyler.
