WARNING….Kevin Ware Broken Leg injury is very gruesome….
Louisville Guard Kevin Ware right leg snapped in the first half of Sunday’s NCAA Midwest Regional basketball game.
The game was competitive to say the least and Kevin was giving his all, but when he tried to contest a 3-point shot it nearly cost him his right leg!
Spectators suggested that Ware had to have a pre-existing condition for such a freak accident to happen, but Cardinals coach Rick Pitino begged to differ, ”Basically his leg went one way and his shoe went another and the bone split,” Pitino said. ”There’s no preexisting thing that makes it do that.”
Although the horrific injury devastated his teammates, and everyone else who watched the game including me, his team was able to win the game in his honor.
The Cardinals beat Duke 85-63
