Alicia Keys debuted a powerful music video for her latest single “Brand New Me” from her fifth LP ‘Girl On Fire’.
In the music video, Keys sings about being fed up with pleasing everyone else but herself. Sometimes you gotta throw your wig off, look at yourself in the mirror and give yourself a pep talk to get it together and that’s just what Mrs. Keys did in the “Brand New Me” music video.
The lyrics of the song is all about finding one self and letting go of people in your life that squander your happiness. “Had to grab my heart back/ God know something had to change/ I thought that you’d be happy, I found the one thing I need, why you mad/ It’s just the brand new kind of me.”
