Adele’s Album ’21’ has reached Diamond Status!
uh huh, yep that’s right… her album has sold over 20 million copies worldwide since the release, last year! Believe it or not, the LP continues on selling and may be the first project to reach diamond status, since 2004.
Usher’s ‘Confessions’ was the last album to reach these numbers in 2004. This week ’21’ has yet to leave the top 10 of the Billboard 200, notching 23 nonconsecutive weeks at #1.
This making it as longest-running #1 album since Prince’s 1985 effort, ‘Purple Rain’.
