World Humanitarian Day is finally here and so is the premiere for Beyonce‘s highly anticipated video ‘I Was Here’.
The Sophie Muller directed video shows Beyonce dressed in a crystal embedded Marc Bouwer gown as she gives a touching performance while a large screen highlights different clips and photos of volunteer work and impoverished areas around the world.
Beyonce is donating her “I was here” video to World Humanitarian Day (August 19) and hopes that her donation will help the UN reach their goal of inspiring 1 billion people to give to someone in need.
The music video starts with an inspirational quote:
“One day, one message, one goal. To inspire people all over the world. To do something good no matter how big or small, for someone else.”
