Lady Gaga can’t wait until Kendrick Lamar drops his Good kid, m.A.A.d city LP!
Gaga had the internet going nuts when she and label mate Kendrick Lamar shared flirtatious tweets and her love for his music.
“@kendricklamar #womenweedandweather listening to The Recipe. Can your new album come out now so i can go out to clubs and dance again,” Gaga tweeted Kendrick ” ‘Swimming Pool’ is so cool.”
Lady Gaga showed up at the Compton MC’s show during the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on Sunday. As Kendrick performed his hits like “Recipe” and “Swimming Pools,” Gaga was spotted dancing to his rhymes and then chilling with him backstage.
After his performance, the Source caught up with Lamar and inquired about his new friendship with Gaga and he said, “That’s a real good friend… a real good friend.”
Seems like the two have a budding relationship but whether a collaboration is in the works is anyone’s guess. “God willing …. for now I just like the friendship thing,” Lamar told the Source.
Lamar’s major-label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city is scheduled to drop on October 2 on Dr. Dre’s Aftermath and Top Dawg Entertainment through Interscope.
