Congrats are due to the newly engaged couple Jim Jones and Chrissy. If you”re a fan of the show, you already knew that Chrissy had reached her breaking point in their 7 year tumultuous relationship. For the past few episodes Chrissy has pointed out to Jim in several ways that she was tired of playing the role of his wife and needed a higher level of commitment. Chrissy even tried proposing to him and he excepted but his actions showed he didn”t care about too much about it, as he later lost his engagement ring. Chrissy said she felt that she was engaged and he wasn”t. On the last episode, Chrissy explained to Jim that she was truly overwhelmed in their relationship and needed a break, so she decided to leave Jim for a weekend of fun with the girls in Miami. This was the perfect move for Chrissy, because Jim didn”t know what to do without her around, it scared him so much he went to purchase her engagement ring and flew out to Miami unexpectedly to propose to Chrissy. He didn”t get down on one knee like the traditional way, but his gesture of flying thousands of miles to prove his love to her was good enough for Chrissy.
