Its official, Laurie Ann Gibson announced that she has decided to part ways from Lady Gaga. Last week the rumor mill went into overdrive, claiming that lady gaga fired Laurie Ann when Gaga sent a tweet about practicing with Choreographer Richard Jackson. However, Gibson shot down that rumor when she released a statement to Hollywood Reporter below claiming it was her decision to party ways:
“I am fulfilled with the work I have done with choreographing all of the iconic moves, creative directing the artist, appearances, shows, directing the tour, music videos, and the Hbo Monster Ball, which was a culmination of my work as its creator and director. “Recently, Lady Gaga was motivated to take the helm of the creative direction of her career and, as such, I decided to step away. I am extremely proud of her, and, in stepping away, I wish her all the best.” Before LaurieAnn released a statement, she shut down her ‘Boomkack’ twitter account (changing the name to BoomBetrayer) which led to the media making their own speculations. The two have spent most of Gaga”s career together and created some of the most-memorable visuals, it will be very interesting to see how this move affects her shows, music videos, and performances.
